Welcome Home zum SUBGROUND TALK, unserem Podcast für die elektronische Musikszene.

Für Folge #13 haben sich Sophia und Jakob aus dem krakelee Kollektiv mit unserem Host Moritz in Köln getroffen.
Die Vision eines kollektiv geführten Clubs bildete sich bereits über Jahre bei der Organisation von Raves und Veranstaltungen in Köln und Umland heraus und wurde durch die jähe Pause der Szene in der Pandemie 2020 in Form von krakelee in die Praxis umgesetzt.
Ihr Ziel ist es, einen Club als Genossenschaft zu gründen – einen Ort, der durch divers kuratierte, elektro-lastige Line-ups, langfristige Deko-Konzepte und eine FLINTA-Einlasscrew besticht. Damit möchten sie einen Raum schaffen, der bezahlte Arbeitsplätze bietet und das Cluberlebnis neu definiert, fernab von kapitalistischen Strukturen.
Aktuell steht das Kollektiv vor der Herausforderung, eine geeignete Location zu finden, doch das hält sie nicht davon ab, bereits jetzt Events an verschiedenen Kulturorten in Köln zu veranstalten.

awwww how much I love returning to Dampfer every single time! can't believe it has already been my third crazy Dampfer ride as VALE :o this time, playing from 3-6, I was accompanied by many friends to celebrate together & although Dampfer turned quickly into a very full sauna (one hot summer day in Berlin haha!), it never emptied.. the music, sweat & energy kept us all going, really what a wild ride! Moreover this time, the marvellous Antonio Riverón created a magical cover for my set, inspired by the music and the floor itself. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the first sketch was "Dampfer discovery", and in a way, we had similar ideas for this cover without talking it through too much.. this is what I love about creative collaborations, ideally inspiration goes back and fourth like ping pong <3
