Closest To The Edge is a groovy, female-fronted industrial metal track. The song is inspired by Kurt Vonnegut's novel 'Slaughterhouse 5' - the lyrics deal with the ephemerality of life and time, and about making the most out of those "marvelous moments" we share along the way. The song was produced at Wrong Side Audio in Germany and mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Arch Enemy, Paradise Lost) at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden.

Liz Fawcett has been described by a few LA music industry reps as a "badass" singer, that has an instantly recognizable voice. Guitarist, and main songwriter Pat "Buzz" Belrose has previously recorded 2 albums with Canadian metal / hard rock band JADE in the mid-80's. JADE’s 2nd album was officially released by Roadrunner Records. The band is currently a 3-piece with Todd "Toad" Resmen on Drums & percussion.

KOBURG is the symphonic rock solo project of Anastasia Coburg, 
London-based model and musician and was formed in January 2019.

Anastasia has already built a following as synth player and backing
vocalist in electro-rock band Naked Lunch.

Following the success of her debut album 'The Enchantress', she released the singles Karma is a Bitch, We Could Be Angels and Love, Let it Rain Down on Me.

Her new album 'Position Of Power' was co-produced by Robert L. Smith, mixed by Karl Groom (Threshold) and mastered by Ted Jensen and was released in January 2020.

For live performances, KOBURG is joined by Dean Baker and Mark Spencer of progressive rock band Galahad, Bryony Brewin on backing vocals and Naked Lunch bandmate Clint Henderson on drums.

The Ego Has Landed is a song about a woman who feels unvalued in her relationship. She is frustrated due to broken promises and being misled about matters. She feels that the situation has reached a breaking point and communication has completely broken down.

In the song, she is now completely berating him for his perceived failings and giving an ultimatum to either shape up or get out.
