Chug drops his debut EP on Smooth N Groove Records. 

The EP focuses on the smoother side of drum and bass. Starting off the first track 'Nobody' blends subtle and crisp drums with clean sounded piano keys. 'Take it Easy' moves into a deeper chilled out vibe with instrumental stabs throughout and keys that perfectly round out the track. The title track 'Holding On' is more energetic with some nice riffs at the beginning that build up into a heavier vibe. Chug finishes off his EP with 'NR3' bringing back a clean and smooth piano sound combined with various instrumentals. 

Having impressed many known headz and listeners in the scene, Chug's 'Holding On' EP is an amazing debut release and one of the smoothest of the year.

Gapside, a collective originated out of Brooklyn NY, debut their sound on Sida A, with a 15 minute collage of jazz samples, a whopping contrabass, modular rhythms and a tale about Jazz, Adam and Eve.

What lurks in their imagination, they snatch with no hesitation. A location with no nation, only wibration. In a place where the basslines walk down the boulevard freely and the parks full of mighty swings, 3 kids from the Gapside of town, young kings without crowns, presenting the introduction with this session, to turn the frowns upside down.

First up they made the oceans, and then the trees and the birds and the bees. So sit back, listen, and say “AHA!” The outlaws are out of hiding...
