Sublime stands for creative expression, subculture, community and for representing an eclectic genre mix, embedded in the aim of creating safer spaces and embracing the multiplicity of beings. Driven by the power of change and openness to un/learn from each other. Our parties are especially characterized by a warm-hearted, approachable, aware and authentic vibe.

It all started in 2021 with open-airs in the forests around Berlin, organized by a small group of friends. Today, after countless free open-airs, trucks/stages on demonstrations, cute bar gatherings, club & secret raves, Sublime still stands for the same core values.

Our crew has grown a lot, the music has become more diverse and so has our Sublime family.

DFR wurde 1990 in Halle (Saale) geboren und lebt seit 2013 in Berlin – dem Herzstück der elektronischen Musikszene.

Seit 2019 steht er als DJ hinter den Decks. Seine musikalische Reise ist geprägt von intensiver Leidenschaft, klanglicher Recherche und einem tiefen Verständnis für die Energie elektronischer Musik.

Mit einem Sound, der zwischen 155 und 164 BPM pulsiert, vereint DFR druckvolle Hardtechno-Beats mit prägnanten Vocals, wummernden Bässen und hypnotischen Spannungsbögen. Seine Sets sind kein reines Entertainment – sie sind Erlebnisräume, roh, treibend und emotional aufgeladen.

Als Gründer von Orbis Sonum Records verfolgt er die Vision, eine unabhängige Plattform zu schaffen – für Kunst, die sich nicht verbiegen lässt.

DFR steht für Frequenz, Tiefe und Techno als kompromisslosen Lebensentwurf.

DFR was born in 1990 in Halle (Saale) and has been living in Berlin – the beating heart of the electronic music world – since 2013.

He began DJing in 2019, driven by a deep passion for sound, rhythm, and the raw energy of the underground.

His style moves between 155 and 164 BPM, blending relentless hardtechno with vocal cuts, vibrating basslines, and hypnotic tension. His sets are immersive experiences – intense, emotional, and unapologetically powerful.

As the founder of Orbis Sonum Records, DFR is building an independent home for artists who value creative freedom and sonic authenticity.

DFR stands for depth, energy, and techno as a bold way of life.
