Sublime announce the release of a new song titled “Feel Like That,” marking
the first original studio track to feature vocals by both the late Bradley Nowell and his son Jakob
Nowell. Driven by the rhythm section of founding members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh,
Sublime entrusted Scott Woodruff of Stick Figure to add his vocal style and production to the
track. With the blend of old and new, father and son, “Feel Like That” delivers a fresh sound with
elements of the classic Sublime vibe. “Feel Like That” is produced by Grammy award-
contributing producers Stick Figure and Johnny Cosmic along with longtime Sublime
collaborator Michael “Miguel” Happoldt.

An artist from Washington Court House Ohio, who’s influences range from alternative rock, acoustic rock, pop, hip-hop, emo rap, trap metal, and r&b. Playing rhythm guitar and writing original music in the alternative rock genre for years, I, Holden “HoldUP” Whaley, now turn my focus to making hip-hop music exclusively while free styling and producing, mixing, and mastering all of my projects 100% by myself. Music is my life and encompasses all of my time and if I can make a positive impact with any of my projects, then that’s all that matters. I am a felon with 3 prison numbers for charges that range from multiple counts of aggravated drug trafficking to carrying a concealed weapon. I have spent most of my adult life in and out of prison and judicial system. I grew up with drug dealing all around me and learned how to hustle at a young age. At an early age came my love for music, and at 13 I started playing guitar and found music to be an outlet for me to deal with the things that were going on in my mind and in my heart. Music is a reflection of my life, and though I have made many original alternative rock songs, mainly on the acoustic guitar, making music was always a dream of mine. As I’ve gotten older I have learned just how beautiful the art of manipulating the vibrations of all matter truly is. Music is not one person’s property, but is the harmony of the cosmos, and I am grateful to be a vessel in placing the puzzle pieces together. Hidden behind every piece of the jigsaw is a masterpiece of chaos and order, humility and greed, pain and joy, guilt and confidence. What music does for me, is it allows me to break away from my self, and it allows me to become something new, an alteration of myself. In starting this new journey I lay my old self and my old life to rest, and climb closer to the visions and dreams that once seemed impossible. During this time, as I record the soundtrack to what is my life, I hope that someone out there can enjoy my body of work just as much as I enjoy making it.
