The Craftsmen are three dysfunctional producers that have created a funk-punk-hip-hop dance party all in one! This experimental soundscape tickles your funny bone while simultaneously breaking your femur! The crew hails from Collingswood, New Jersey to Portland, Maine and members consist of Consolation Prize, Dynamo-P, and Micodin. 

The debut album was recorded in the spring/summer of 2014. Pat Jones (DYNAMO-P) and Michael Thompson (MICODIN) had finished up their golden-era hip-hop album, SERIOUS PROBLEMS, and were looking to explore new waters. They approached Kent Green (Consolation Prize), who grew up playing in the punk rock scene of Philadelphia, to do some remixes for their singles. This quickly evolved into an album when they heard how well their individual sounds gelled. A mix of heavy drums and hard-hitting sonic funk are a staple in their unique sound. 

Micodin did the production/mixing, Dynamo-P handled vocals and raps, and Consolation Prize dabbled in both. Jay Ruch, of 0x1 Sound Studio, worked on the final mixing/mastering. 

The first single, PICK UP NEW TRANSMISSIONS, really showcases the talent and style that is The Craftsmen. Crunchy drums, blips, and heavy bass line lay the foundation as Dynamo and Consolation narrate tales of love, loss, and Mickey Mouse. It takes the listener on an unpredictable ride!

Spannung_Loesung gehören zu den Pionieren der Bonner Deephouse-Szene und spielen seit 2009 insbesondere in Bonner Off-Locations. Dazu kommen einige Kölner Gastauftritte im Odonien oder Heinz Gaul.
Der Stil orientiert sich an den Wurzeln von House Musik, wie er in den großen U.S.-House-Metropolen der 80er/90er erfunden und gepflegt und in Deutschland Ende der 80er erstmals im Hamburger "Front" gespielt wurde. Unsere Idee war es, Soul zu spielen - mit den Sounds und Mitteln elektronischer Musik. Der Bass pumpt super präsent. Elefantenfüße. Stets garniert mit ein paar disco-Früchtchen. 
Es klingt intensiv, warm und druckvoll, nie überladen, niemals hektisch, never ever cheesy.

In the Summer of 2006 Portland Emcee Dynamo-P @dynamop linked up with good friend and Portland legend Ric One @cardo-one and decided to merely freestyle and hit record. The outcome was more than the 2 expected. The songs sounded pretty raw and dope. So they kept creating. And recorded diligently. A name was needed for this madness of a project and thus Semiconz was created. The name is a play on industry standards and how "rappers" con their fans by personifying false images etc. No official release from this duo has dropped, but the singles and features have been consistant. Currently they have enlisted fellow JKE music DJ and producer Micodin to the squad @micodin to help the cause. Raw, strange, unconventional hip hip.
