Prošle godine su DJ Oli Dobolli & Metaxa prvi put predstavili projekt imena Reprodukcija. Vremeplovom kroz najbolje od domaćeg Hip Hopa, su mixali pjesme s njihovim originalnim samplovima u jednu tečnu cjelinu. Domaća publika je tada sjajno popratila izlazak tejpa, uz opći dojam da je ovakav uradak ne samo užitak slušati, nego i edukacija domaćeg hopa upoznavajući slušatelje sa originalnim samplovima.

Nakon premijernog izdanja i ovo ljeto plovimo zvucima Reprodukcije, vol.2. Soundtrack za laganu vožnju starom cestom prema moru, za galebarenje po Jadranu ili guštanje doma, selektori DJ Odie i Metaxa biraju za vas najbolje od domaćeg rapa na terasi omiljenog hotela na Jadranu.

Incredible visual artwork from Marvel artist Enis Čišić and resident Eatbrain designer László Tringli, is threaded through with the continuation of the operatic space narrative tying the tracks together into a concept as epic as music itself.

‘VICTORY’ completes the EP with a meteoric streak of unending euphoria. Sublime vocals back yearning synths, striving to reach ever-greater heights before being punctuated with tight drum edits and expansive reverb chasms. The drop arrives akin to having the planet pulled out from under your feet, a powerful wave of distortion that erupts and spreads ferociously across the sonic spectrum before pummeling eardrums with a significant percussive 
assault. ‘Victory’ makes you want to raise your arms in the air whilst uttering your most profound war cry.

With the ‘Colonize’ EP Billain once more shows himself to be one of the most innovative and restless minds in electronic music – an unstoppable progressive force that has no rival. Over Christmas 2014 I needed a break from recording
my album, searching online for a song I recalled from
my youth, I fell into a rabbit hole of thousands of
YouTube playlists and posts, rediscovering the songs
my friends and I would gather and listen to as
13 & 14 yr olds every Saturday in East Berlin on Radio DT64
(now Berlin's Radio Fritz).

I stumbled back to the future, collecting over 5000 songs
on YouTube, learning for the first time the artists behind
the songs we heard almost 25 years ago.

The forthcoming trilogy is the result of 18 month
of building edits from YouTube recordings and stitching
them together off-line. I could not include every song,
nor indeed even the entire tracks from this small period
until 1993, so this is my personal history of electronic
music arriving in Berlin.

This trilogy will not be sold, it was a labor of love,
born of nostalgia and made for sharing.
