Yoke Psyche is a deeply personal project, documenting the lifestyle of hospitality work, using raw field recordings warped and twisted into experimental and clunky dance music.

Explosive, textural and short, it aims to capture the stressful balancing act of dealing with long-term physical and mental strain against the short-term gratification gained from working in this industry.

This was a release of ours from about 20 years ago when i was making tracks with Steve Harris under the name of CLOAKS. Put out as a small run white label by WERKDISCS it sold out very quickly. Me and steve have the only copies i know of.
The original track, 'CUSS VERSION' is by LLOYD ROBERTSON and was released in 1984. This was his version of his own track 'CUSS CUSS' which came out in 1969.

A side:   Cloaks-CUSS. This is a cloaks reworking of the awesome original.
AA side: Cloaks-CUSS VERSION- A stripped down, pounding, steppas sound system track.
Both tracks mastered at TRANSITION-huge.
