After a couple years of pause and contemplation, KOI resurfaces through an unexpected EP.

“LAGO EP” is composed of two pieces, “LAGO / CUEVA”, which allude to the dualism that pre-exists in this reality, inviting us to move through the entire spectrum in a continuous and spiraling way.

LAGO is calm and light.

LR007 "Hohenheim" Lone Romantic

r²π (@r2pigreco), a fusion of Retina.it, PRG/M and Ruhig, releases an "Isomorphism EP" on @UnitaPsicofisica. The release includes two original tracks, and one remix by Svreca and Neel each. The release is out on April 19th.

MNMT Premiere: r²π – Strange Loop (Neel Remix)

Michał Wolski joins Kynant with a diverse, four-track EP of hyper-detailed techno. ‘Back Entry’ and ‘Inferior Representation’ are peak time cuts with hypnotising touches. On ‘Bathyscaphe’ and ‘Wanderer’, Wolski explores more a melodic, atmospheric direction.

Subosc Ltd is glad to announce a new vinyl release. Guido Camino, aka Mental Resonance, presents four original cuts under his Forest on Stasys identity.
“Astral Projection” presents a cosmonautical voyage with a strong progression that constantly builds up. The rarefied atmosphere included in the track, features an emblematic ritualism that is interlaced with natural waves and layers.

“Expedition” follows a photonic pumping approach, featuring non-trivial and sparse drum patterns. The functional approach entails complex hallucinogenic stimulations.

On the flip side, “Lumina” proposes an explorative story with sparking elements that resonate and overlap with the different melodic layers, producing a pleasing hypnotic effect.

“Talisman” closes the package with a decompressive, magical journey, that carries the listener into an imaginative dream-like dimension made of natural landscapes.

The EP will be available as a vinyl only release, on a strictly limited pressing.

Debut solo EP by one half of Deep’a & Biri (Transmat / Black Crow).

Tel Aviv native Itai Biri offers up his debut EP for Counterchange with ‘Process Is Forever’. Over five bold and very different tracks we are guided through expertly balanced floor workouts, elegant hypnotism and melodic reflection. Biri’s remarkable control over the bass-end, rhythmic structures and stereo spaces in his music is proudly on display here - from the rolling energy of ‘Process Is Forever’, to the tripping tones of ‘Ursa Minor’ and beyond.

Recently relocated in Berlin, Biri’s new wave of solo productions have also found a home on Len Faki’s Figure Jams imprint, while he released on Derrick May’s Transmat with his long-term partner Deep’a. Together they run their lovingly curated Black Crow label which continues to promote a defiant strand of Detroit-indebted techno and dubbed-out electronics.
