Subosc Records presents a new project from a mysterious artist identified as "The Floating Illusion".

The release is a Mini LP with 6 tracks that showcase a journey of sophisticated imaginary.

"Way of changes" starts the journey with a mesmerizing vibe. A dusty lo-fi synth that generates fragmented abstractions with an analog feeling is the central element of the track.

"Everything Disappear" continues with an emotional offering inspired by fate and by the provisional nature of every form of life on the terrain world.

"Astralia" takes place providing a contemplative multi-layered soundscape with a cosmic aesthetic.

"Era of the Slaves" presents a fast-paced arpeggiated wonderland with a dense and evolving background atmosphere

"Comeback" offers an evocative and uplifting narrative characterized by bleeping hi-tech stimulations and luscious pads.

"The Floating Illusion" concludes as a revelatory high-speed epilogue with a tragic and immersive sound modeling.

@keinkontrast is a project of passion out of love for the beat. The focus of his musical compositions is on a deep, hypnotic sound space, surrounded by a fascinating, experimentally created atmosphere that offers space for our mind. Like music and art, the love of nature is a common language that can overcome borders. In music but also in nature there are energies, frequencies, resonances and vibrations. This creates feelings that guide us, and quite individually. It is difficult to understand or put into words. It is a process of the subconscious. Through his mix, he wants to offer the opportunity to immerse yourself in a world in which you briefly lose space and time to be simple and briefly experience the feeling of lightheartedness.

Native from Paris, Mersel derives his experience and influences from a bustling underground scene. As a disciple of textured, organic and hypnotic techno, he juggles with different styles ranging from down tempo music to sharp and clubby techno. 

Producer since 2010, he has several EPs to his credit on several labels like Cosmic Waves Records or Circular Limited. In 2017, he created his own label “AllegoRythme”, on which he released his EP “Mismatching” and produced many artists such as Cavüm, Klim, LLP, Vardae, Nicolas Riffo.

Drawing on his experience, Mersel expresses himself through deep and hypnotic techno music, allowing him to develop live performances with analog and modular synths.
