We welcome VEX to Subplate Recordings with a solid offering that hits all of the pleasure sensors with "When I’m Alone/Motive". "When I’m Alone" is a throbbing wilder beast, the bass entering with such overwhelming power that its hard not to rinse at full volume. "Motive" is another fine example with textures building anticipation before a bounty of shoulder popping rhythms unfold. Both tracks tick all of the boxes and find the perfect balance of tight sharp drum edits and powerful low end. An exciting trip into the deep end.
