Mel Skluzacek is originally from Minnesota, started recording and performing with bands while living in Minneapolis for 9 years and has resided in NYC since 2004. An artist, musician and professor in the Sculpture and Integrated Practices area of the Fine Arts Department at Pratt Institute, Mel's art can be found at www.melskluzacek.com

Tenderwheel - Mel Skluzacek founder, songwriter, guitarist, vocalist, keyboardist  w/ bassist Ryan Sweere (Lotus Eaters, Burnsville City Limits), drummer Dan Greenwood (Lotus Eaters, Cloud Cult, Burnsville City Limits) 2003-08, recorded album Tuning and Breaking, recorded unreleased EP. Eric Fifteen performed and recorded 2004-06. Tenderwheel has been Mel's solo project from 2009-present. 
Party of One - Mel was guitarist, bassist, backup vocalist in this Fat Cat Records band with founder Eric Fifteen 2003-05. 
Elada - Mel Skluzacek was songwriter, guitarist, vocalist, keyboardist and founder of band w/ songwriter, guitarist, vocalist Adam Sorensen,  bassist, keyboardist Sarah Schneeberger, drummer Aaron Lagas 1999-2003. Self Titled 7" record with unreleased B sides, single Better for a Mpls band compilation album and album Suspensory. Elada went on to record one more album without Skluzacek. Sorenson went on to start the band Ice Palace.
