‘What’s That Called Again?’ is a track filled with weird and wacky sounds that scratch an itch you didn’t even know you had. Rezzy synths bounce off each other as a male vocal recounts his dancefloor experiences, hypnotised by the groove.

Maco - Jazzty [BYTE018]

Beat Or Technique is the latest four-tracker from Yotam Nadav, landing on DDCX with serious style and swagger.

BEAT OR TECHNIQUE couldnt match better the sound of the Campo Festival label.

It’s a sharp-edged dancefloor cut — playful, percussive and soaked in groove — where each track (Groovy Mars, Forbidden Pie, Body Rock Ya) flirts between raw muscle and slick detail. Known for helming Barcelona’s Space Room and co-piloting the Club Cultura collective, Nadav brings the same crate-digging finesse and late-night intuition from his DJ sets into the studio.

His love for '90s and 2000s underground wax bleeds through every synth and snare. With past releases on Fauve and a rep for assembling cult club nights across Europe, this EP is another notch in his ever-evolving sonic belt.


Groovy Mars

Automatic Writing is pleased to welcome Olivier Romero to the family. A longstanding figure in the Paris underground scene, Olivier has more recently gained international recognition through a series of solid releases supported by selectors such as Raresh, Dyed Soundorom, Cristi Cons, and Gene On Earth.

The Past Present Future EP showcases the breadth of his musical range—from hip-hop-tinged tech house to subtle, infectious deep house grooves. REFLEX BLUE contributes a more introspective, UK-flavoured take on the already timeless "The Past Future."

𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗼 𝗪𝗲𝘆 returns with its 3rd EP transmission and it’s the most personal yet. Curated by label head 𝗝𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗼, Control Correction EP brings together 3 original cuts that expose his raw artistic vision: emotional, bleep heavy and full of twisted charm. Each track unravels a different thread of his sound, loosely anchored in the house spectrum but prone to break into experimental detours, bursts of glitch or ambient textures. It’s robotic but human, warped yet full of feeling.

The EP features two remixes, one from Nelzon and another from 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗼, both reshaping Jimbo’s work from fresh angles. Our pick is Lucho's remix, a clever flip on the original’s fragmented energy. Jimbo’s version feels like an exploratory journey through feeling and form, built from fragments of sound (phone tones, glitchy textures, emotional synth work in minor scales). Lucho offers a rework that shifts the focus, keeping the emotive core intact, but tightening the low end, reshaping the groove and bringing the track closer to the dancefloor. A thoughtful contrast that highlights two sides of the same emotional coin.
