Live set of original, remixed, and unreleased tracks from my set at Sub Sbass July23, 2022.

Technically a recording of a rehesrsal, it contains plenty of mistakes, fiddlings and learnings, preparing for the night.

Starting on a more dub/roots flavour, the set progresses into chilled dub techno, then experiments with a few pieces more tech-related.

Born in New Zealand and now residing in Australia, the deep reverbs and modulating filtering delays of minimal dub techno and dubtronica is where SUBSET calls home. This is a live recording from his recent performance at Whitvoir At The Convent, held at Abbotsford Convent, Melbourne on Sunday 22nd January 2023.

My live set from Meanjin Dub Club 01 at Diffuszed Studios, Brisbane, December 2nd 2023.

The first time playing Whipbird Dub from 'Call of the Whipbird' EP live, along with a number of updated and unreleased tracks, and a brand new upbeat closer featuring trumpet, saxophone and organ solos and live guitar, all dubbed via the touchscreen and guitar-to-MIDI controllers.

Live at Neck Of The Woods, Auckland, New Zealand, supporting Pitch Black on the opening night of their 'Freqs in Flux' NZ tour.

Tech Specs: 

Chameleon as the main controller on the touch screen but also trialling the Leap Motion 2 and Glover software as a secondary hands-free / gesture controller.

All additional synths played live via the guitar and Jam Origin guitar-to-MIDI software.
