I stumbled onto Hayden Calnin's music about a month ago and I remember his track 'Coward' being the first track of his I heard. It stood out to me. It was ambitious, ethereal, with climatic builds and chanting vocals. I loved it.
Remixing this track was difficult. I wanted to preserve the same vibe the original had, while also putting my own spin on it. Here is what I have.

I felt as if I recently hit rock bottom, musically and creatively. I was kind of a well run dry or so to speak.

I think the secret to creation though is instant and genuine expression - the result is only the result but the process is so much more important. Do you ever feel like the road trip is almost better than the destination....or at least more exciting? The end is always so hard to imagine but its easy to be excited for the process. Stop comparing yourself and just make what you love.
