We're back on the airwaves for our October show!

On todays show in the first hour Chris Curtis will showcase some of the best new house, techno and electronic music from around the world, alongside exclusive new tracks from alumni of subSine | Academy in Glasgow.

We've got loads of exclusive tracks from past students of the academy - the talent coming out of the classroom just now is unbelievable.

In the second hour we welcome past student and international touring DJ Natasha Kitty Katt (Glitterbox / Defected).
Born and raised in Edinburgh into a soul music obsessed family, Natasha Kitty Katt was introduced to rare Soul, Funk, Boogie and Rare Disco from a young age.

Spotted by the main influencers in the Disco & House scene Natasha quickly took up residency at seminal events such as: Southport Weekender / Festival, UK, Suncebeat Festival, Croatia, Ocean Beach Ibiza, Pikes Ibiza. Following on from this Natasha Kitty Katt was soon snapped up by the Defected Glitterbox imprint and is now playing at their Global Events around the world.

Matching her meteoric rise in clubland her releases have gained interest with tracks out on: Glitterbox recordings, Quantize, Ghetto Disco records, Tropical Disco records, Midnight Riot, No Fuss records, Masterworks music, Paper recordings, Tribe, Situationism (Tom Findlay – Groove Armada remix), Paper recordings & Louie Vega MAW has reworked two of her tracks for his forthcoming album on Nervous records. She also runs her own label, Ghetto Disco records focused on high-quality disco & house music.

Having met at subSine | Academy of Electronic Music, Midland Street Echoes and Systrophe explored wavetable synthesis and field recordings of important places in their lives to create this stunning EP of conceptual electronic music.

The result is a beautiful mix of timeless melodies and intricate rhythms, framed by beats that make them work on the dancefloor as well as in headphones.

Artist Quote - "Traumerei is constructed around a sample of Systrophe's black Labrador dreaming beside her whilst she was exploring wavetable synthesis.

Déjà Vu is inspired by Midland Street Echoes' dreamy days on the Cornish coast and the floating emotions after a good rave up in a dark basement."

Initially a duo turned one-man unit, TWR72 has been stacking some fire transmissions for the likes of Hayes, SK_Eleven, KEY and their own imprint, Float Records. Trading out hi-velocity wares all set at cranking up the room’s heat two notches up, the Amsterdam-based producer champions a sound fully geared towards shaking dance floors upside-down with its implacable mix of flaring uptempo drives, sleek programming and crisp sound design. Punching in our series with a double hour workout spanning the breadth of his arsenal, from heavy-duty dubs to true-school modular destroyers, TWR72 has us surfing a tsunami of paced-up face-melters and zero-G acrobatics that won’t let loose on you until your batteries have run dry for good. Definitely more physically strenuous than your average routine, expect to be sweating buckets.
