Le sound system de Besançon nous offre une superbe sélection reggae/dub spécialement dédiée aux années 90’s ! Une must qui enchaîne les tunes d’une époque féconde mais pourtant méconnue du reggae tant en Jamaïque qu’en Grande-Bretagne, avec la résistance acharné d’un dub conscient et l’émergence du stepper… Run it, this is musical history !

Avec un peu de retard, la Mixtape #4 est de sortie, et cette sélection 100% vinyles nous est offerte par Sista Skanka, originaire de Montpellier, qui n'en est pas à sa première !

Après avoir joué lors de différentes sessions à Montpellier et Perpignan, elle est désormais engagée au sein du collectif soutenant Reggaescape Sound avec lequel ils organisent régulièrement des sessions Sound System à El Salon de Tango à Mauguio.
De plus, Sista Skanka a joué pendant 2 ans sur Outta Mi Yard Radio une fois par semaine.  Elle joue principalement des vinyles Reggae, Roots, Digital ou Steppa, et a une préférence pour les sonorités des percussions. Sista Skanka porte une attention très particulière aux messages des tunes qu’elle partage et essaie de construire des sélections dans une certaine logique.
