Rolling, proggy bangers from old school to new & fresh, from the young DJ & head behind @meltmelbourne. Depending on the set/mix/mood, Willis dives between a range styles & genres - dipping into electronica & downtempo in his Hope St Radio shows, and at other times he's even got a punk rock outlet via @sandydish.

Willis is a dedicated member of the community & it's been lovely to watch him grow and flourish.

For October's Entropy Radio on Baihui, we have a local HK hero, Marco Yu, pushing ethereal and hypnotic minimal and Techno genre over the past decade, with his previous involvement as UTOPIA collective, and recently with his own TRI party series. Oscillating between modular synths and vinyls, Marco proves himself to be a no-frill techno artist.

Bet you thought there will be no more Xmas presents for you this season. Here’s a belated one from us then. The power rangers Austin Powers & Schaumstoff pulled a heavy shift during our last trip to Berlin’s Sameheads and we have dug out the recording of it. Surprisingly to absolutely nobody, it sounds out of this world, so trying to describe it would be nothing but waste of words. Pour yourself another drink and press play. Very merry indeed!

A live recording of Sampi’s DJ set at the end of an 80-hour party celebrating the new year at Renate. Featuring pulsating rhythms of deep techno, trance, breaks, dubstep, and occasional grime, igniting the dance floor and keeping the crowd engaged. With flowing transitions and daring twists, each track is a testament to the power of music - while tragedies are happening in the world, music never fails to unite, provide hope, and heal.

Huge thanks to Sean H for the trust and invitation, Altjira for setting the perfect tone, and to Harrison for featuring this recording on their esteemed podcast series. Andi Harriman is a writer and DJ living in New York City with an emphasis on all things dark and Eighties-centric. She is the author of the book Some Wear Leather, Some Wear Lace: The Worldwide Compendium of Postpunk and Goth in the 1980s and her writing has appeared in Red Bull Music Academy, Dazed, Village Voice, Noisey, Bandcamp Daily, Electronic Beats and LA Weekly, to name a few, while acting as contributing editor to Post-Punk.com.
