Substance ist eine treibende Kraft in der Welt des Hardtechno. Sein Genre umfasst Hardtechno, Industrial und Schranz. Bekannt für seine unbändigen, kraftvollen Sets, die die Grenzen des Genres ausreizen, hat er sich schnell einen Namen in der Szene gemacht. Ein Highlight seiner Karriere war der Auftritt im renommierten Lehmann Club Stuttgart, einem Mekka für Techno-Liebhaber. Dort stellte Substance eindrucksvoll seine Fähigkeiten unter Beweis und bewies, dass er in der Lage ist, selbst die anspruchsvollsten Crowds in seinen Bann zu ziehen.
