Bercé par The Psychedelics Furs ou encore Dépêche Mode, FLVN plonge dans la musique dès ses premières dents. Il découvre le monde de la nuit et de la musique électronique peu de temps avant ses 18 ans. Marqué par des heures sur le dancefloor il pose ses mains sur des platines pour ne plus jamais les enlever. Ses premiers pas en club en tant que DJ il les ferra dans le mythique club bordelais le 4Sans. A cette époque, FLVN évolue dans un style minimale dark, en cohérence avec sa fougue juvénile. C’est après avoir arpenté les clubs underground de la belle endormie qu’il décide de se retirer et partir à la recherche de nouvelles inspirations. 

En 2015 il fait définitivement son retour en qualité de producteur chez NightNoise (Amsterdam) avec un original nommé ORASOL FATE. Ce morceau playlisté par grand nombre d’artistes à travers le monde notamment Chloé et Ivan Smagghe lui permettra d’être soutenu et reconnu par ses pères. Suivront son premier EP LOGAN avec les remix’s de Kiwi et Lordakat ainsi que NYCTO- PHILIA, un EP plus personnel et représentatif de ses influences avec des remix de Curses et Pino. Il s’attaque par la suite à un édit du légendaire Fade To Grey et d’une de ses artistes favorites : Siouxsie and the Banshees.

Lors de sa première apparition sur la scène du festival Alfresco en 2016 au côté de Jennifer Cardini, The Emperor Machine ou encore Matt Walsh, il foule le sol anglais avec dans sa valise des morceaux plus post punk élaborés avec son jumeau maléfique que Jordi Sorder. Il rencontre Justine et quelques semaines plus tard naissait Bagarre Perdue. Ce projet permet à FLVN de mettre un premier pied dans la prestation live et découvre l’émotion que procure ce format. Ensemble ils iront se produire à Paris, Bordeaux et Londres.

En 2017 FLVN décide de rejoindre la capitale parisienne sans oublier d’y amener avec lui son compère de toujours. Quelques mois après avoir sillonné Pigalle sous toutes ses formes et les bars rock parisiens, un soir d’été il décide, avec Jordi, de monter un nouveau projet live : Order89. L’ordre voit le jour fin 2017 avec l’arrivée du Kid Helliot et surtout leur titre Barbara. Leurs premier EP verra le jour courant 2018. 

Le BPM s’est quelque peut accéléré pour laisser derrière lui une mélancolie trop envahissante et désormais rechercher l’intensité et l’urgence absolue.

Berlin-based Musician/DJ riding the next wave acid halo into the sun-shattered dusk.

On albums, Dame Bonnet joins on Bass as well as the Curses (live) tours and concerts.

The new album ‘Another Heaven’ just released with legendary Synth-wave label, Italians Do It Better, co-produced by Johnny Jewel. Curses has also done vocals for Artists such as Âme ('Shadow of Love'), on legendary Berlin-label Innervisions, keeping true to his punk and new wave approach on electronic music. Previous albums released on Dischi and fashion house, Saint Laurent. Curses has brought his unique sound to iconic venues such at DC-10 and festivals like Nuits Sonores and Grauzone, as well his residency at Berlin’s infamous Pornceptual party. Hosting a Monthly radio show, Together Alone, on Rinse FM France, Curses has also released various EP's and singles with labels such as, Oráculo, Bordello a Parigi, Running Back, and Wrong Era.
Curses is responsible for curating the acclaimed vinyl compilation series and party, Next Wave Acid Punx, showcasing a passion for New Beat, Early E.B.M, Post-punk and obscure Italo, which continues to gain a passionate cult following worldwide, including multiple support from BBC Radio 6.

Curses continues to bring a romantic and punk energy to the club, threading the ethereal nostalgia of the 80s and 90s into the future of now.
