Sinan Abdel Moati's musical journey began when he was nine years old, strumming his first chords on a guitar. Having spent most of his youth receiving classical music training at the Rubin Conservatory Of Music in his native Haifa he later on got exposed to electronic music and technology, which made him develop a great passion for the art of producing and composing memorable songs while developing his own unique style. Since then he has released several singles and remixes, as well as eight EP's, which successfully climbed the Beatport top 100 charts including gems such as ‘Moments', featured on Roger Shah's ‘Magic Island Vol. 9' compilation, and ‘The Tribe' on YOMO Records.

As an accomplished guitarist and live performing artist he strives to push conceptual frontiers, continually moving things forward and welcoming new ideas and experiences that define his presence and style. For the past two years he spent time during the pandemic working on his first artist album, a diverse masterpiece that merges seven tracks into a continuous journey full of stories and twists. Incorporating musical sounds from different cultures each song is based on a certain mood and feeling while gradually transitioning from lighter to darker soundscapes. From the deep vibes of 'Sands Of Tantura' and 'Overthinker', the progressive grooves of 'Higher Dimension' and 'Cordoba', to the techno flavours of ‘Dark Adaptation' and 'Rabbit Hole' SINAN tells his story and establishes himself as one of dance music's most versatile producers.

What was your most significant club / festival moment?
"There are many incredibly beatiful moments, I had in Clubs or on Festivals. But it was definitely my first booking on the Hammahalle floor at Sysyphos. The Hammahalle paved my way to music, the sound, the atmosphere and the vibe were and still are something very special for me."

How would you describe your approach to Social Media as an artist?
"I am in the social media area as I am in my private life. I take my followers with me into many everyday situations, I also like to tell stupid jokes that I can laugh about myself and I would like the people behind the phone to get to know me as a normal person. I also really like communicating with my fans, everyone who me writes also gets an answer. I think that's really important because I'm happy about answers myself."

What do you want to express with your music?
"I believe primarily in freedom and detachment. That you forget everything else in the moment and only let yourself be guided by the music. There is no yesterday, no tomorrow, but only this moment in which we can dance and most likely be ourselves."

What to say…Besides being grateful to be asked to share space and time to partake in celebrating this wonderful lady. The event was exactly how i imagined it would be and more, a true marathon bender with all of the lovely characters you'd like to see when you embark on such an adventure. When @mira_kater invited me to play it, you betcha i was coming in from wherever! And it did not disappoint, my only regret is that i wish i would have planned my stamina better, since i wish i could have stayed for the whole event.
