Rising from the ashes of the former Puerto Rican band "The Lost Disciples" , "Back Seat Driver" was the culmination of two former members' musical search. After numerous changes in sound, lineups, and various demos, "Back Seat Driver" finally settled in with its current four members in early 2011. In an innovative effort, the band blends rock, metal, post-hardcore and mathcore, along with endless other influences. Soon after their first shows, the band gained a quick following, and this gave way to their first EP during their founding year, "Raining Sideways". After a year of transition and preparation, "Back Seat Driver" now looks forward to cement their image with their upcoming debut album and matching, new image for 2014. So beloved fans, old and new alike, expect to have your hype well-met and appreciated very soon.
