“What has become of this world? Have those prayers been heard?”

This one is a weave of hazy textures, reflections on the world and whispered prayers by Rozitaa, live-recorded earlier this year, in January. 

“When I imagined this mix, I was standing at a crossroads. I had just come back from Rome, a city that had shaken me by the beauty of its contrasts. Catapulted back to my life in Paris, I wanted to find a way not to forget the experiences and encounters that I had there, which had shaped me in many ways. Shortly after my return, I was invited, along with other artists, to share my musical interpretation of Yann Toma’s film ‘Un Monde-Lumière’—‘A World Of Lights’. This experimental work was projected on a continuous loop in Room 3 at the Reflet Médicis, a cinema in the heart of Paris known for programming independent movies. For several days, the public could enter freely to discover different musical interpretations of this ‘world of lights’. 

What has become of the world? How can we reflect on its condition and breathe hope into it through sound? These were the questions that guided me as I created my own interpretation of Yann’s work. I named this mix ‘25Wishes'. Blending ambient and downtempo tones, it is above all an assemblage of hopes, prayers and rhythms to help us keep moving forward. I played it in the screening room in January 2025. Sitting comfortably in front of the film, the audience was connected to my decks through headphones, allowing me to whisper soft melodies directly into their ears. It felt like a parenthesis. A healing moment, I think, for all of us.

Now that this recording is about to be released, I wonder again. What has become of this world? Have those prayers been heard? As it continues to rush forward and cast shadows over our moments of light, I renew my wishes for 2026, hoping that these sounds and voices will be heard and warm the hearts of those who listen.”

“Synaptic Frames” is my debut techno track at 137 BPM, composed in G minor. I produced it with a focus on tight low-end control, layered analog-inspired synths, and dynamic modulation to keep constant tension throughout the arrangement. The track evolves through filtered textures, percussive stabs, and subtle automation aimed at creating fluid transitions for DJs. Designed for peak-time sets, “Synaptic Frames” blends hypnotic drive with precise sound design to maintain energy and flow on the dance floor.
