Next up on our #SubsessionsPodcast is NYC DJ who recently relocated to Philadelphia- Carpinelli. Carpinelli has been hard at work in the studio over the last two years honing in on his sound as well as shaking some of the best dance floor's NY and Philly have to offer including The Panther Room at Output, TBA Brooklyn and upcoming gigs supporting Stacey Pullen and D'julz in Philly.

In addition, he formulated the birth of his label @thisisphonic and has been adding quality music to the underground scene in it's short span of existence.

Check him out Saturday May 12th as he will be playing at Subsurface Presents: Official Movement Pre-Party with Stacey Pullen.

Subsessions 004: Carpinelli

For the 9th installment of the #SubsessionsPodcast we welcome Philly rising talent Zdon! Between his recent work in the studio, compiling some of the best unreleased music in Philadelphia. Subsessions 010: David Gtronic

Merloh is a Philly based deejay, producer, & event organizer who connects the dots across genres from italo-disco to techno to UK garage. If she's not behind the decks, catch her out on the dance floor til sunrise. Over the last year she has been lighting up the Philly underground dance music scene, leading the way for a new era of women DJ's in the City of Brotherly Love.

For this particular mix, she chose a cast made up entirely of woman artists.

Keep your eyes peeled as she will be gracing the decks for Subsurface in the very near future :)

Subsessions 011: Merloh

Yōsuke DJ is a Philadelphia based DJ, musician, filmmaker and community organizer. They throw Philly's guerilla-style public space take-over party, Concrète. This Subsurface mix is dedicated to undying hope and collective strength in perilous times.

Once this craziness clears up be sure to keep an eye out for Yōsuke partaking in Subsurface outings!

Subsessions 012: Yōsuke DJ

Our Next #Subsession podcast guest needs little introduction, as we welcome none other than- Jacob Herschel.

You probably remember his work with Rizumu, 52hz, and Philly's favorite summer weekly jam "Fountain Green". Jacob has played a pivotal part in Philadelphia dance music culture for more than a decade. Recently he relocated to Providence, Rhode Island where he has played part in hosting a DIY bi-weekly after hours parties with Symposium Records called "Beep & Klang". He has also been working throwing a monthly art gallery party called "Groove", helping further the scene in Providence.

Jacob is no stranger to subsurface as he joined us in celebrating 10 years of Sean Thomas's Drumsong party in February 2019 featuring special guest Recloose. We have special plans for Jacob to return to the City of Brotherly Love once the dust settles.
