Released on October 7th, Tekel's debut brings energy and feeling with subtlety and precision. The sleek futuristic vibes pioneered (and often re-invented) by the Subtitles imprint are all present here, coupled with flowing motives and exotic mystique. Though a newcomer, Tekel was raised on drum n' bass and it shows. Founded in 1999 by Norway’s TeeBee & K. Subtitles Records was mainly an outlet for the solo work of TeeBee & K, but soon became a benchmark in pushing DnB forward into unknown territories. 11 years down the line the label is bigger than ever, hosting a very impressive roster of international talents like TeeBee, Polar/K , Calyx, Future Prophecies, DJ Abstract, Angel Zero, Cause4Concern, Stratus, Illformants, Zero Tolerance, Rob F & Impulse, Orion, Chris Su, Break, Phace, Noisia, Commix, State Of Mind, Spor, Audio, Misanthrop, N.Phect, Icicle, Electrosoul System and more recently Ulterior Motive. The sound of the label is quite hard to describe, as it’s always changing, but at the same time always present. So we’ll leave it up to the listener to pigeonhole us.

If you do not listen to music with decent speakers or headphones, and don't listen to it at the proper volume. You might as well just turn on the radio...

Every song I repost, deserves a full listen through, otherwise, you may miss the reason I reposted it. 

If all the music you listen to sounds the same, whats the point? Music that is different, unique, original, experimental or even weird. Will hold anew value. Even if it isn't something you traditionally enjoy. It should have more of an impact, than something you DO like; That sounds the same as everything else!
