Deriva begins the EP with its moving strings, chopped up breaks and lush pads. La Esmerelda Part 1 skips along with cutting edge breaks and emotive piano before Chiriqui takes the listener back to calmer territory with soul-stirring piano drops, celestial pads and ever evolving beats before we end on La Esmerelda Part 2 with its mix of new and oldskool breaks, emotional piano sprinkles and divine pads.
