NORTHERN CREATIVE NEENZY HAS ALWAYS HAD A LOVE FOR RAVE CULTURE. ALTHOUGH SHE IS A FRESH FACE ON THE SCENE, NEENZY'S JOURNEY BEGAN AFTER RECEIVING HER FIRST SMALL DJ CONTROLLER AFTER WHICH HER PASSION DEVELOPED.
AS MUCH AS SHE LOVES FOOTWORK, 160 BREAKS AND JUNGLE, NEENZY ALSO RUNS A WELL ESTABLISHED UK GARAGE NIGHT 'WHEEL UP!' IN NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE WHERE SHE IS BASED.
AFTER PRIORITISING GRAPHIC DESIGN AND HER STUDIES FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS, 2023 IS THE FIRST YEAR NEENZY HAS TAKEN HER DJING PUBLICLY AND IS EXCITED TO SEE WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS FOR HER.

INTERNATIONAL WOMENS MONTH: NEENZY

Named after the postcode of legendary East London club Plastic People, @ec2a has been putting out red-hot dubplates and helping to cultivate the reinvigorated UKG scene by nurturing up-and-coming artists. 

Alongside a mix from its catalogue, founder @dr_dubplate shares the label’s story so far with Rob McCallum.
