all PURP everything. PURP is the alter alias of Turtleboy. An OG veteran in the bass music scene; PURP has been pushing the sound and culture for the past decade. With runs all over the west coast and notable festivals like Emissions, Serenity Gathering, Konnexion, Bamboo Bass in Costa Rica, and Curiosity in Canada. 

His sound encompasses the more dark & sultry side of bass music influenced by mythology, occultism, and screwed out trap music culture. His sets have been put in high regards and had key mix features with Beat Lab Radio, Danktronics, Wormhole and vibe.digital. 

A long time resident of Smoke Siignals and Brokenbeat; he's been a key co-conspirator for the Riitual and It's A Vibe series events.

 My purpose on soundcloud is to spread music that brings me joy to everyone hoping it does the same. I hope to help spotlight and support all of my favorite artists from local to international.
