Subtrail is proud to present their 5th EP by https://soundcloud.com/arctyxmusic, a techno project by Alex Tyler from Oakland, United States. Creating soundscapes as dark and psychedelic as the moonless desert renegades that inspired them. His explorative sound design can be found thundering across the deep underground California music scene creating monstrous yet hypnotic experiences. He recently played at Burning Man festival. We featured his track ‘Hypno' in our VA - Sonic Secrets Vol 3 which did really well. 

This time around we present two originals with remixes by crew member ‘Basslinengineer' and Goa based DJ & Producer ‘Leonoel'. EP kicks off with ‘Neutral Net', a slow grungy psy-tech track that revolves around a mean arp hook. https://soundcloud.com/user-677057110 has crafted a heavy remix keeping the original vibe but adding his own touch. The second original is ‘Escape Velocity', which is a peak time psy-tech groover. We love the sound design here. For the remix, https://soundcloud.com/shravanjkumar has stripped down the track to create a darker minimal rolling bass version. All four tracks bring the best of psy-tech sounds to your playlist.
