Basilisk is a veteran multi-genre DJ, co-founder of the influential psychedelic techno label Techgnosis Records (@techgnosis-records), and founder of the iconic @Ektoplazm music portal and label group. Originally hailing from Toronto, Canada, he is now based in Taipei, Taiwan, where he remains dedicated to breaking boundaries through mixcraft and the art of DJing.

Appearing now on Subtrail's Trail Cast, Basilisk presents a broad definition of "psychedelic techno", sourcing material from across the spectrum from minimal and dub techno to dark and progressive psytrance, with tasteful references to tech house and classic trance. Smooth harmonic mixing, subtle tension building, and a spiral motion through different moods ensures this will be a true journey into sound. Xenia Liloo started her music career in 2008 in Goa, well known as a party coast in India, soon after she was hosting parties and spinning around as a dj from Arambol to Anjuna. 

She played at hundreds of parties in the most famous and happening spots like Hill Top,9Bar, Marbela, Nyex, Chronicle, Shorebar, SkyClub, Liquid Sky, SeaHorse, WestEnd, Waters, Katzensuppe, Lilliput, RockWaters, Antares, W, Pinakin, Curlies.

Her sound focused on the underground techno vibes, from minimal,deep and hypnotic techno to industrial, with lots of hypnotic synth stabs, galloping percussion rolls and high energy drum patterns which induce the feeling of hypnotism with a rock-solid groove.
