It was 1979/80, SIU/Carbondale electronic music studio. A Moog 55 with an additional cabinet and two Revox A-77's for track bouncing. I brought in my MXR Digital Delay and Rev 2 Prophet 5. This was my final project for the Electronic Music class. Too many track bounces to remember...

After having life changing experiences listening to music, Stratusphere set out to commune with the spirit of sound and vibration as a path of healing for himself, while hoping to touch just one other being in a positive way along the way. Stratusphere creates original mettamusic for the heart and soul, while aiming to raise the vibration of the listener with the potential for empowerment of the listener to do their own self healing. This is a mix of songs from his latest album Beyond the Darkness, as well as previous releases and collaborations with Suduaya and Emog all reflecting the forests of his mind.

Sometimes love manifests in unpredictable forms. It encompasses both romantic intensity and toxic depths.

This is precisely what ‘Entre Deux’, the latest single of Pandhora, signifies. The title plays with the notion of two individuals who, while complementing one another, find themselves ensnared in an endless loop of anguish.

Accompanied by a diverse percussion set and an array of textures and progressive sequences, the voice within ‘Entre Deux’ serves as a sonic pendulum for Pandhora to articulate their thoughts on commitment and belonging. Concepts that often give rise to an inevitable void between two souls, despite their mutual reliance.

In this emotional ecosystem, where passion often eclipses love, Pandhora invites us to ponder the intricate dynamics of complicity. They challenge us to contemplate the human propensity to transmute pain into a subconscious pathway towards acceptance. Acceptance of what could have been, but will never be.

‘Entre Deux’ is a breath to reflect on anxiety and love, and on how we can deal with the fear of commitment and the acceptance of the inevitable.
