Versus is a DJ, producer, and founder of Deadline Records, based in Hamburg. His sound is rooted in raw, hypnotic techno—built on rolling basslines, driving beats, and repetitive rhythms that guide dancers into deep, immersive journeys.

Organic textures, instrumental elements, and striking melodic moments run through the heart of this release. With a deep sense of musicality and groove, Skydivers blends drive and emotions in equal measure, bridging raw club energy with a more introspective rhythmic feeling. It’s a deeper release!

During the process, I found myself drawn to more organic elements! Instruments, textured layers, and subtle melodies that could live within the structure of techno but also stretch beyond it. I wanted every track to feel alive, to breathe, to carry a human touch beneath the rhythm.

Skydivers became a personal journey. Not just a release, but a snapshot of a period where I explored new sounds without overthinking, allowing instinct to guide me.

I didn’t want to follow a strict formula, I wanted to stay honest to what felt right, even if it wasn’t “safe.”

Each track is a part of that story.

I’m very proud of that ride, I worked many hours on my selecta and it covers the entire sound spectrum that I like to play : groove-tribal-raw-happy & emotional trancy ending ✨I played lot of recent stuff mixed with old classics tracks that I played 2/3 years ago. 

But I’m still a little frustrated because xone96 filter was glue by alcohol and sometimes it doesn’t turn off, risks of live…

Soy mendo.wav, un DJ de Barcelona que explora el lado crudo e hipnótico del techno. En mis sesiones, el groove y los ritmos tribales se fusionan con texturas más oscuras para crear atmósferas inmersivas que equilibran cuerpo y mente. Busco constantemente joyas ocultas: temas que transmiten tensión, profundidad y una energía única, con el objetivo de crear experiencias que trasciendan lo obvio. Para mí, ser DJ no se trata solo de velocidad o intensidad, sino de construir una narrativa donde cada beat cuenta una historia que emerge de las sombras. Busco sonidos que impacten físicamente y a la vez abran un espacio mental al oyente, combinando la fuerza percusiva con un flow hipnótico. Cada sesión se convierte en una exploración del movimiento, la atmósfera y la energía underground en su forma más pura.

 Sobre la sesión:

La intro no salió exactamente como esperaba y no hace justicia a lo que sigue. A partir de ahí, la mezcla se convierte en una auténtica inmersión en música oscura e hipnótica, combinando ritmos de percusión intensos con capas sombrías y texturizadas que impulsan la atmósfera. Combina temas muy actuales con joyas ocultas poco conocidas, pero absolutamente alucinantes. El resultado es un viaje a través de una energía pura y una profundidad hipnótica, donde cada transición se adentra en un paisaje sonoro underground, denso y magnético.
