[BLP-016] Insanis Tempus by ROBotron starts with a rhythmic pulse reminiscent of a beating heart, gradually evolving into intricate, swirling rhythms and a rich tapestry of sounds. Initially, it feels restrained, but soon the atmosphere expands as if delivering a message from the depths of a distant galaxy. Persistent and, at times, ominously haunting, the sonic lines wrap around you sometimes intensifying, sometimes receding leaving behind a lingering tension and faint echoes reverberating through an infinite expanse. The soundscape is utterly captivating, suspended in a vast, weightless dimension, expanding and contracting with a mesmerizing cadence. It comes alive, shifting and morphing crackling, whispering, humming, and shimmering through ever-changing tonal layers. Like an entity of stardust coursing through the veins of a galaxy, it evokes a surreal and immersive experience that lingers long after the final sound fades.

The second release on Hypnotic Journeys brings together emerging Georgian producers and celebrated names from the global techno scene, weaving a story of tension, resistance, and transcendence.

Batumi-based newcomer Grenuy opens the compilation with a debut ambient piece that feels both intimate and expansive, a slow-burning meditation on space and emotion. His work is reimagined by Van Morph, a revered producer and founder of Khoros Records, who drives the track into deeper territory with an old-school, hypnotic groove.

NFNM (formerly Kapa), a young yet distinctive voice in the Tbilisi underground, delivers a piece of textural techno rich with movement and raw emotion. The journey concludes with a powerful remix by Tsott, founder of the forward-thinking Spira Records, whose deep and cerebral approach brings the compilation full circle.

“Friction” is a testament to Hypnotic Journeys’ ethos: uniting generations, sounds, and visions through hypnotic techno as a futurist statement.

Rumble kick, tom-heavy accents, and metallic, industrial textures churn beneath the chant, building a midnight march that feels sacred and menacing at once. Big, moody reverb tails, pressure-valve noise sweeps, and a droning synth bed keep the air tense until the drop caves in the room.

We curate queer sex-positive parties with equally queer line-ups, featuring mostly non-binary and trans DJs. Our aim is to platform artists with gender identities that are under-represented in the music industry, showing that it is possible to have more inclusive and diverse booking practices without a decrease in musical quality, but in fact with an increase by bringing new and previously unheard perspectives to the dance floor.

Discovering and nurturing new talent is at the very essence of SUBVERTED. We stand in resistance to the homogenisation and sanitisation to which the techno industry has been subjected in recent years via formulaic, easily-digested productions and repetitive line-ups, and intend to continue opening the industry's gates for a new generation of artists that are pushing their own unique and fresh take on dark industrial techno.
