Today we’re happy to premiere Tart Jam from New York based DJ and producer, Aspetuck, who’s no stranger to Delayed. Whether it be through his most recent album released on Oslated, all original mixes, ambient sets, or one of his recent self released bandcamp EPs, Griff aka Aspetuck is never far from our minds or speakers here in Brooklyn.

Like a musical kaleidoscope, turning and twisting, snapping melodies in and out of focus, Tart Jam seems to evolve and bring the listener on an acidic journey. Each minute ending with different moments than the prior, but all made cohesive by an underslung bass line giving that all important groove.

Tart Jam and the rest of the Mind Wandering EP will be out on December 15th, under Marco Malpeso’s Wex Records imprint and their Telomere Plastic sub-label.

"Split 1.0" is definitely a split release! Side A delivers some fresh hypnotic techno sounds by Bastian Balders himself while side B catches up with some groovy house tracks by Anton Kubikov, who is active since the mid 90s and well known for his minimalistic dub techno-house style. Side A ends with a mysterious electronica outro while Anton produced some chilled guitar riffs combined with acoustic signals and delays to finish the whole EP. Molly makes a triumphant return to Groovement with her latest "Introspections EP." This five-track EP marks her first release on the esteemed Portuguese record label in five years. Our premiere for today is the EP's opening track, "I'm not your...," a true gem that instantly catches the listener's attention. Fuelled by an invigorating 808 broken beat, the song is adorned with beautifully subtle pads and a catchy acid bass line. With its evocative Sade-like vocal sample, "I'm not your..." possesses an undeniable charm that adds an extra layer of depth and emotion.
This exquisite fusion of elements evokes images of sun-kissed shores and emerges as the perfect addition to any afternoon set by the tranquil lakeside.
