Gari on point again with this EP, proper! :)

This track is a collab by electronic musician Nadav Dagon and visual artist Marius Jopen, fusing live rhythm and AI-generated visuals into a four-part immersive experience.
It is the 3rd single from Roda Con Robots. A 4 tracks release where each track was born from live, intuitive jams on Nadav’s Roland TR-8S drum machine — raw, expressive, and groove-driven. In parallel, Marius crafted evolving visual worlds using AI tools like Stable Diffusion and ControlNet, translating the music into layered, hypnotic motion.
The project is an equal exchange — not sound supporting image or vice versa, but a dialogue between mediums. 
More than just a release, Roda Con Robots is a testament to creative freedom, spontaneity, and the magic that happens when humans and machines create together.

De ses productions se dégage ainsi une incroyable cohésion, nourrie de structures toujours plus complexes et maîtrisées. Ce perfectionniste signe notamment sur le premier « Various Artists » de Copie Blanche, avec son morceau « Starfish ». 

Les 4 morceaux et l’interlude de cet EP "Starfish Island" sont le reflet de la personnalité de Louis Dauvergne : originale, un brin bordélique mais toujours dans l’idée de découvrir le jazz-fusion de demain. Les jeux sur les percus et l’esprit funky qui se dégagent de l’ensemble confère à cet EP le charme d’une House portée sur les origines de la black music.

En attendant la sortie prévue fin Mars 2018, Louis a quand même pensé à nous. Un paquet caché se trouve à proximité du jardin Damia Island à Paris dans le coffre d’une “Comet”. Promis ce n’est pas de la bière…

Deep house staple Axe on Wax are getting us prepped for summer. They’ve enlisted French producer JLMT, real name Jules Pastouché, to curate these breezy transitional vibes as we move on from this rainy Spring (at least here in Canada) to sunnier times. JLMT has had a few things out in the past, mainly a more jackin’ EP on L’Isérois and a couple of edits that have garnered some success. We’re pretty sure he also produced “Swoazy” on Groovence Records, which was listed as an unknown artist and is closest in vibe to what we’re presenting here today.

You’d be forgiven if you heard the EP and mistook the sound to be of Canadian origin. The lead synths, particularly on our premiere today and the A1, Coconut Trees, are reminiscent of earlier Project Pablo works. The chords are warm and mellow, perhaps reminding some of Vancouver’s Jack J and his solo work. The groove is steady and complements the melodic work, with a bit of French touch filtering going on just to remind us that this producer is indeed from France.

The rest of the EP is great as well and comes with remixes from Laurence Guy and Real J, but our pick is the A1 as it has us prepping for those daytime summer jams. Be sure to pre-order your copy and be prepared to hear this one become an ear worm this summer.

CLÆP THAT brings together sounds from  familiar CLÆP friends as well as some new faces in a record that is reminiscent of the classic detroit house sound, mixed with something newer, yet simultaneously more lo-fi and analog .

You can expect to hear textural, analog jams from artists such as Jesus Moses, Yot Nam, and composer/producer Matti Julius, who infuses his classical training into this previously unreleased main room groover, Moules Gratinees. Maltitz and Nicola Brusegan bring the synth-heavy, emotional vibes whilst Sischke’s tribal influenced track Najuma and a hypnotic slice of minimalism from Ion Vulcan represent the more percussive side of house.  Not to mention a delicious acid laden roller from Derek and DJLo.

This is EP is pure house party and sunset vibes, guaranteed to get you ready for a long night of dancing.
