@crosstownrebels welcome Tochno Techno label owner @yulianikomusic to release her first full EP, ​Paradise, ​a captivating three track EP featuring jazz bossanova vocalist @silromero and Italian talent @cioz on remix duty. The aptly named ​Es Vedra c​ an be heard as a digital bonus track.

Opening track ​"Caminando" e​ncapsulates Yulia’s inspiration from walking on the White Isle of Ibiza where she spent the last year living. The hypnotising deep house melody of swirly synth pads and Sil Romero’s beautiful dreamy vocals wash over skipping percussion in an emotive composition. Niko described how the track came together - “​I sent demos to my friend and great jazz Bossanova singer Sil Romero and told her about my emotions after Ibiza. She also loves the island and goes there every year. The words "Caminado" are from Spanish - walking around, and she says ”I feel good​!”. Cioz ​puts his own melodic stamp on the remix, creating a progressive club piece with bright keys over a reshaped bass line.

'Affektion' is purposefully effective track with the hypnotizing vocals of Negra and the progressive electrified synthesizers. Fresh off the heels of our 2nd release - Blue Cookie EP - Gather Records are back with Binary Cuts; four heavyweight steppers guaranteed to dismember any dancefloor courtesy of the dynamic duo: On1 and ZeroFG.

A1 “Push” wastes no time getting into some heavyweight, early 00’s style, rib-shattering bass-weight, whilst “Knee Deep” builds the tension to the absolute maximum before letting loose in the fashion that these guys are all too good at.
Over on the flip, the jittering technoid/proto-dubstep style rhythms of “Vexed” seems as though they’re almost designed to bring out the wiggiest moves from dancers with the B2 cut “Final Round” perfectly closing off the EP with skippy beats and spacey atmospherics perfectly primed for those late hour zoners.
