It’s more of the same for Baldo’s Physical Education, as the Spanish label heads back to the year 2000 for their next release. 

Another re-issue, another one-off forgotten gem: this time courtesy of UK talent Affie Yusuf.  

On the cards are three slinky dancefloor cuts that perfectly capture the spirit of the era: A Tulip Saved My Life, Subwoofer Mayhem and Whoop Whoop Dance Tragedy.

Driven by a vision of presenting warm, intruiging dance music, the vinyl only label has rapidly become one to watch in their debut releases. Moods flirt between the golden era of tech-house and slick breakbeat flavours, meandering through deep moods frothing with groove.

The label ran by DJs and producers Kurley, Roman Coskun, and Marco Man aims towards building a community within its ranks, inviting artists for repeat releases to express the collective vision. Kepler make’s a timely return to Dana Ruh’s legendary Brouqade Recs with three fully fuelled warpers. The Leeds man debuted on the label at the back end of last year, sharing both sides of a plate with Dana herself for a spacey split EP. ‘Cycles’ (BQD049) provides the orbital goods from a producer that’s fully locked in with his sound and always pushing his limits. A cosmic three-tracker of upbeat, high-spirited tech-house, that promises peak-time fusion but is also bursting in outer-worldly edge and introspective essence.

A1 ‘Enter’ navigates a path of soul-searching and enlightment, in the form of this a proper end-set weapon. A slick, cruisy intro casts a breezy spell in it’s opening act, with glowing pads and flickering notes lighting up the scene. The chugging bassline works it’s way in, ready to set off like a rocket and increases the energy levels immediately with a spiritual menace between its teeth. Kepler then injects some absolutely magical high-end play into the mix by adding some beautifully whirling synths and almost holy sounding pads to fully enhance the enchanted emotion..........' Mario Liberti’s Deep In Dis vision has provided the sonic platform for the formidable Parisian DJ to invite like-minded creatives into his fold. The label encourages it’s artists to express themselves fully with genre-bending sounds, no barriers and total freedom to impact dance-floors with altering impacts. Physical EP’s are a rare commodity with the label, but when they arrive they always slap. As seen with the last one, a killer split-EP from rising talents Eric OS and Lewis. A1 ‘Eden’ from the EP has become a modern-age timeless anthem, and is still doing the rounds in sets around the world. For us, it’s is one of the sickest tracks of the last few years.

Fast-forward and D-I-D return with their first VA of their physical series and welcome five bubbling artists to the fold to make their debut on the label. 004 produces a killer exertion of different sounds: alligning deep, progressive grooves across dexterous arrays of house, electro and breaks with endless amounts of energy.
