SUCHI’s club vision is a vibrant fusion of global influences, a kaleidoscopic blend of eclectic dancefloor energy that defines her work as a producer, DJ, and the driving force behind Ikke Sant. With a Rinse FM residency and a distinct sonic identity, she crafts immersive, genre-spanning sets that pulse with originality.

For Tapes #152, she leans into a peak-time energy while keeping the groove at the forefront. Opening with a 6400 Crew record, she moves fluidly through 90s and early 2000s house and tech house selections. Midway, a shift emerges with Holloway, steering the mix into deeper, bass-driven tech before building back up with Der Dritte Raum's remix of Resistance D and closing with Jamie Anderson. The set also features her upcoming remix of Zaltsman, soon to be released on Treads.

SUCHI presents Ikke Sant, a fresh imprint founded on dancefloor exploration and experimentation. The label’s debut is Sub Cut and comes courtesy of its founder; three tracks of shimmering psychedelia in hybridised club fun.

Ikke Sant, a Norwegian phrase that loosely translates to “isn’t it?, not true?”. For SUCHI, it's an effervescent inspiration that informs her approach to dance music and provides the title to her beloved Rinse FM residency. That radio show dutifully showcased her myriad of influences while clarifying her remarkable hybrid style as a DJ. Now, she extends its operations to a label. A natural progression, offering an opportunity to host her own productions while delving further into label curation. 

SUCHI provides the label's inaugural release with Sub Cut. Across three tracks, she delves into the entrancing and playful, with familiar patterns coming unstuck with alien textures and dissonant sounds. The title track struts with mischievous energy, a roller that writhes amongst throbbing didgeridoo patterns and circular bassline. Every Pan Has A Lid gurgles in psy-eyed hypnosis, the shuffling percussion rides wonky alongside processed vocals interspersed with club-addled drama. Propeller digs deepest, its heightened tempo summoning celestial arpeggios while its charged low-end pumps deep for an eyes-closed finale. The release has already garnered early support by Pearson Sound, Pariah, Or:la, Florentino, Haai, Tom VR, DJ JM, Bradley Zero and more.

Loft 55 - Porn School (Modern Electronic Soul). An early 2000s tech house record I love playing. Both tracks on the record are super solid. The baseline is nice and naughty with a super catchy melodic hook.

Old and new digs of mostly house, tech house and tribal, mixed on vinyl and digital. Just kind of went with the flow in this one, starting groovy, then pumpy and fun - ending on my melodic favourites.
