Guy J's launch of Early Morning marked a bold step towards ushering in a new era of creative advancement. The label's ninth installment features Tantum's debut, comprising three tracks that collectively span nearly 22 minutes.

Tantum, known for blurring the lines between melodic techno and progressive house, has cemented an international reputation for his innovative sound in the electronic music sphere.

The title track, Out of Nowhere, embodies the notion that inspiration somehow often strikes unexpectedly. However, Tantum's hypnotic creation reflects countless hours of meticulous sound exploration and idea refinement.

Beginning his international journey in 2014 with an EP for Lowbit Records, Subandrio's silky style has lit up dancefloors globally. Now signed to a bewildering array of labels including Vapour, Mango Alley and Juicebox Music, Subandrio has gained years of experience, winning accolades along the way with an unrivalled musical diversity as producer, remixer and performer.

Opening with 'Heritage 82', Warm bass tones and driving percussive underbelly instantly hooks in. Muscular rhythms and ear candy sonics keep you firmly on the dance floor as this epic journey reveals its secrets with patience and class. 

Next up, 'Morph into the Sun' continues apace. Driving rhythms, snappy hats and machine funk melodies all combine effortlessly. Pushing forward to the first break, the track swerves into new territory. Dark sweeps and pulsating melodies draw out the tension before the main break prepares us for the drop. Finally, Subandrio rounds the EP out with the suitably named 'Karnage'. Stripped back drums make way for the bubbling acid bass and scratchy FX, and percussive intensity. Very much a late night treat that teases the tension, this is the perfect pre-peak bruiser to get the floor ready for an audio onslaught.

Whilst he may be a fresh name to some, Russian producer Maksim Dark has already impressed the likes of Dubfire and Richie Hawtin with his fearless, groovy brand of techno, and the SCI+TEC boss has already tempted us with an early introduction to the ACIDSTAGE Ep via his recent Boiler Room set. 

Staying true to his name, Maksim Dark, our latest debutant has delivered 4 tracks of shadowy minimal goodness, each featuring the artist on demonic vocal duties. From the driving synth groove and white noise washes of ‘Bassewiser’ and the stripped bare, linear sounds of ‘Coneblower’ to the bubbling and yet biting sounds of title track ‘Acid Stage’ and sci-fi squeals and ominous chords of closing number ‘Harpsichord’, we’re given the perfect introduction to this exciting young artist.

Lonya has blazing a musical trail over the last couple of years. His sophisticated, melodic and rich textured productions, whilst often bearing a resemblance to past progressive sounds, reach far further into the modern musical consciousness. 

Lonya's short but sparkling discography has seen him release on labels including Supplemental, Bpitch Control, Konsequenz, Sweat Lodge and Elevation. Not only an artist, but also a label owner, running the rapidly growing, Asymmetric Recordings. 

Fond of working as a team, Lonya has already released a host of material alongside friends including Chaim, James Blonde Oliver Deutschmann and Hakimonu. Sudbeat 022 sees the Israeli once again playing tag-team, this time with Zombi, as the pair present "Kalanoit." 

The original is an anthem in the making, with its cinematic strings, angelic vocal and regal horns. The first of the remixes comes fellow Israeli's Audio Junkies, who whilst powering from the off with their big synth bass, create a mysterious atmosphere, once again with strings and vocal playing their part. The final mix is from the fair hands of the young Argentinian, Dark Soul Project. True to their name the mix is deep, epic and laden with drums and groove.
