LT0045 // Teho & Ceas - Stern
New single from Teho's upcoming album "Infinity" and this time in collaboration with Ceas. The release starts with the first track called "Stern", a combination between deep house, melodic house and techno. The track starts with a groovy stab and floating elements to build a tension until the first break. Then the theme of the track is released with the principal lead of the track which uprising until the drop. The progression is still continuing and make appear the main theme again at the apogee of the track. A magnificent combo between the two artists, "Stern" is a pure gem of music. Then comes the second track called "Ideal", more melancholic but still on the same vibe than "Stern". Starting with an intro with a long LFO synth, the first chords make feel something hypnotic. An arpegiator is revealed in the first break, and drop back into the track with it. The building up creates a tension who dive us into another world. The second break is going deeper, the second chords are released and it goes higher to drop into the last epic part of the track. "Ideal" is a magnificent track, very emotional with a long building of harmonies. Identities of both artists are truly present in this two-titled release, the progressive and dreamy vibes from Teho with felty sounds and emotional chords from Ceas !

Kicking off the first release on 2022 are label heads ‘The Journey’ where they have teamed up with Rachel May. Delving into the deeper side of their repertoire, ‘Hollow’ is extremely musical with a wide variety of elements filling the record throughout. Slowly building in typical “Journey” style with Victorian vocalist ‘Alverie’ perfectly complimenting the instrumental, this groover is a must for open air gatherings this season. On remix duties is Tristan Case & TAYA. Hailing from Sydney and the Hinterlands in Australia respectively, both producers bring their own flavour to the original On the back of a Number 1 overall release on Beatport and 6 top ten single in the past 12 months, Tristan has already captured the hearts of a lot of listeners with his smooth and spacial production and doesn’t hold back with momentum on his remix. TAYA on the other hand whose discography is already quite extensive with releases and support from some of the biggest artists in the world, showcases why he is one of the more in demand producers in country with a classy remix that really encapsulate his underground roots.

Taking a Day Off is what Teho and Romain Garcia wanted to do when composing their latest single. Leaving all responsibilities behind, the two artists instead focused all their energy on the production of this title, in turn losing themselves in the beauty of the track. At a point, they felt like being totally immersed in another reality, granting themselves the ability to let their creativity be fully expressed. Day Off is a crossroads between both musical universes, sweet and deep from Romain’s side, and electric and intense from Teho’s.

The next trick on the always reliably excellent Go Deeva label is an new single from Serge Proshe featuring Zhanna that comes with great remixes from Anton Ishutin and Trav & Volta. 

Serge Proshe is a DJ with more the 10 years experience.He is owner of the Mantra club in Kiev and this represents his debut release on Go Deeva Records. Zhanna, meanwhile, is a songwriter & vocalist from Barcelona who worked with Felix Da Housecat  on the album ‘Virgo, Blaktro & The Movie Disco’. Zhanna and Serge have known each other for a long time and come together in some style here. The main theme song was recorded in Barcelona and finally finished in the studio in Kiev. 

Up first, ‘One Time’ in original form is a moody, broody song with proper lyrics that slowly builds to an emotive peak. With posed chords, sweeping ads and lots of sing along drama is a sure fire anthem. The club mix is that big more ra, direct and beat driven, and then come two remixes. 

The first is from Anton Ishutin and has a more rounded, bobbling bassline that really makes it deep, whilst Trav & Volta go for a more peak time, synth led version with big melodic explosions and trance like chords. 

Despite this being Serge Proshe’s debut release, it speaks of someone with lots to say and more than the skills to say it. A great debut, then.

Renaissance artist and Audio Therapy boss Dave Seaman teams up with Tel Aviv based producer Guy Mantzur on the latest smash from Sudbeat.

Seaman really needs no introduction. 20 years within the industry and a career that has taken in chart smashes and dancefloor anthems has seen him cement his position as one of the leading electronic artists and DJ's, of all time. Mantzur has gained recent global success through his music for the dancfloor, TV and film. Resident of Tel-Aviv's The Cat & The Dog club, Guy is also co-owner of the Munich based Plattenbank imprint.

Slam deliver yet another exciting remix package, bringing old and new together in one release with storming remixes from Jerome Sydenham & ROD
Slam's classic Positive Education is up first with Jerome giving it a suitably modern Techno update. After the driving intro, the original's baseline surfaces beneath the folds of reverb and crashing drums as Jerome delivers an out and out dance floor destroyer. For Jerome's second remix on the release he takes on Variance, part of Slams Paragraph project. Once again Jerome effortlessly makes this his own, his driving percussion sits atop Slam's original searing high pitched siren. Jerome brings the noise with this version!
Finally, newcomer to the techno scene ROD weighs in with two excellent interpretations of Positive Education. 'Remix One' blasts off with a hypnotic loop of the original baseline, slowly drawing out the synths before kicking through with splashing rides. 'Remix Two' strips things back a little, giving the track a more jacking nature. Ping pong delays and full on 909 drums are in effect here as this remix bursts at the seams with energy.
