Summer Melody presents a brand new installment of our Intertwines EP series, showcasing new and upcoming artists in a pair of two, and starting their own fusion towards the label. Our 18th installment includes two melodic tracks from label debutants hailing from Hungary and Poland respectively.

Stepping into the realm of melodic progressive, the pairing starts with Hungary-based SecretVision. Started his journey on deep progressive sounds and labels such as Future Avenue, Inception, AH Digital, Stellar Fountain and more, SecretVision debuts on Summer Melody with Eternity, a simple melodic tune showing the sense of longing with more simplistic elements and letting the melodies speak.

Another side of the pairing provides with another label debut, from Poland-based 7 Horizons. Previously on the likes of Deepsessions, One Of Those Days and Progressive Vibes, 7 Horizons debuts on Summer Melody with Into The Lights, a pop-dance-leaning vocal track with a melodic center, a mixture of crisp sounds and atmospheric moments, plus in both vocal original and dub versions.

The mighty Marcelo Vasami returns to Sudbeat with a sensational three-tracker. A favourite at the recent ADE label showcase with The Soundgarden, the Argentinian wunderkind has been working hard on his sound with gig dates all over Europe and beyond. 

Opening with ‘Dirty Talk’ we are immediately drawn into a murky underground world of beats and bass. Taking the lead, the groove is everything. Off-kilter sonics and wild FX keep feet locked onto the dance floor. Next up, ‘Shades of Blue’ borrows the percussive framework of the opener and hangs a new combination of melodics and echoing FX to continue the sonic adventure space. Musically rich and dynamic, this is Vasami at his devastating best. Finally, ‘The China Wall’ rounds out the pack with an upbeat, peak time vibe. Crisp hats, a solid 909 kick and rubbery bass marry with otherworldly FX and a catchy hook which grows and grows and grows. Prog House perfection.

Matias Chilano returns to the label with more silky smooth progressive vibes on the ‘Red Line’ EP.

2019 was a good year for Matias, will releases for Balkan Connection, Soundteller, Onedotsixtwo and more, plus a coveted addition to the Patrice Baumel Global Underground mix, the first City Series compilation in 4 years. To add to this, he’s had a busy year of gigs and strong support from Spotify, so 2020 looks like it’ll be even bigger. 

Opening with ‘Red Line’ we are quickly whisked away with rolling bass and hats, underpinned by surefooted kicks. Bass pressure increases organically as soundscape pads glisten on this new school meets old groovathon. ‘Watergate’ follows apace. Tribal rhythms from the outset make way for a strong percussive underbelly and delicate sonics. Mind music at its devastating finest. Finally, ‘Analog Ghosts’ rounds out a fascinating triple-header. Powerful and melodic, the ethereal vocals and 80s-inspired pads create otherworldly mindscapes.

Back again after the monstrous Amelthea’s Horn EPs back in 2018 is Alex O’Rion with an exceptional 4-track EP.    

After a strong year of releases on Hope, Replug, ICONYC and more, Alex returns to Sudbeat with ‘Alone’. The lead track is a strong tribal progger with his incredible sound design and attention to detail. Building a head of steam over the opening section, the break is like an oasis from the storm, drawing you deeper into Alex’ web.   

‘Mastadon’ takes off from where ‘Alone’ ends. Punchier drums and a more insistent melodic core drive the track forward, opening the listener up to all manner of mental visuals. The dub mix of ‘Mastadon’ is an altogether different beast. Darker, deeper and more devastating. The bassline leads the way, grinding out a well worn path from the waist down. Finally, ‘With You’ offers some light relief with upbeat drums, uplifting pads and playful melodics.

'Everybody Is Someone's Model' already marks the fourth appearance of the seasoned Russian producer after his collab 'Broh Canville EP' with Ewan Rill, his solo release 'Baurro / Fara' and his remix for GuyRo's 'El Murciano'.

Both 'Everybody Is Someone's Model' and 'Blaugamma' are intelligent and chunky progressive house rollers as we've come to expect from K Loveski. Pure quality and expected to gain a lot of traction from the usual suspects in the scene.
