Ewan Rill & K Loveski are no strangers to The Soundgarden. After their star turn on the label’s Winter Collection in 2019 and an appearance on Nick Warren’s acclaimed Balance compilation, the dynamic duo make their full debut on The Soundgarden with their swaggering three-track EP, ‘Made in Goa’.

The title track serves as the opener, bringing with it a deceptively catchy refrain and a veritable melee of sharp kicks and cracking snares. It’s an up-tempo offering from the pair and one that sets the mood for an EP that’s guaranteed to keep you grooving until we’re able to hit the dancefloors again.

Next on ICONYC sees the return of Alex O'Rion with the reworked 2020 edit of his smash hit 'Navagio'. The talented Dutch producer has been a well-known entity within the scene and has graced some of the world's finest electronic music labels with his unique and lasting productions. Hailing from Amsterdam, Alex, developed a unique style of music, full of ambiances, paired with despondent and warm dreamy patterns that guided him to where he is to today and embodies the sound he now personifies. 

Alex leads with the outstanding rework of his timeless 'Navagio' track; a stunning driving melodic progressive house affair. The track utilizes a deep groove as foundation, underpinned by a profound bass and smooth synth chords that gradually ease their way to the summit. Unified by a relentless kick drum and dusky atmospheric emotion, the composition climaxes by adding recurrent percussive elements and soft soaked melodies that come together to create a structured sphere of sonic satisfaction. 

On remix duty we welcome Kamilo Sanclemente & Dabeat, famed for their endless high-quality productions. Their interpretation sounds mature, effortless, and full of subtle nuance. Known to never be bound by any particular style, we see the duo taking a deeper route for their rework of 'Navagio'. Kamilo & Dabeat deliver a bittersweet, quality fueled, melancholic rework that manages to get your legs shaking with each downbeat. Great stuff!

Adding to our list of all-star remixers, we drafted in Subandrio who knows a thing or two when it comes to mind blowing reworks, turning his mix into an irresistible track using the original elements with perfection. Subandrio layers more melodies and effects, whilst upping the flow with cleverly programmed tech percussion and his trademark FX elements, without destroying the essence of the original. His rework deserves to be branded 'elemental' in any sense of the word. 

Alex O'Rion has developed a unique style which endeared him to us; having established his credentials as a master of his craft. Alex's 'Navagio 2020 Rework', accompanied by 2 reworks from Kamilo Sanclemente & Dabeat and Subandrio, is certain to find its way into the playlists of the big-boys brigade. The 39th release sees Anton MAKe, a Kazan (Russia) based artist, make his return to Juicebox Music with an EP featuring "Alya" & "Midsommar". His first appearance on our imprint came through a remix of Michael A's "Endless Time" for our Untold Stories series back in 2019 and then followed it up with yet another a massive remix of Berni Turletti & Matias Chilano's "Alumine" in 2019, a subtle yet powerful interpretation that easily became a favorite selection in many sets. Anton's production style & top shelf quality earned him a healthy list of label associations, highlighted by his stellar releases on Replug Records, Proton Music, Mango Alley & Welcome Music, to name a few.
