Hello Halloween

"Summer Sailin" was written from a sailboat off the coast of Wilmington, NC.  A hotel sign reading "Summer Sands", lit neon red, interrupting the natural calm of the shoreline and inspiring reflection in a sinking soul.  The projections of a man who didn't end up where he had hoped, this song teaches us that things dont always happen exactly how we "hope"...and that's okay.   There's a higher purpose right there all along that we may not understand until we look back...have faith.

I first came across Petit Biscuit's music while on tour with Shallou in the US last year and immediately fell in love with his unique production style. The first time I heard the original for I Leave Again it felt so calming and ethereal, but I also felt like the song could exist in a world with more live and fast paced instrumentation. I try to approach remixes in a way that retains the core essence of the original song while simultaneously exploring totally different spaces, and the bones of "I Leave Again" felt so exciting and pure in a way that allowed perfectly for this kind of reinterpretation. — Japanese Wallpaper
