Title track Splinted dons the A Side of the release and sets the standard high with its heavy sub, percussive melody, and string lead. Robson has taken inspiration from contemporary orchestral composers such as Terry Riley and Steve Reich initiating the creation of the drums and percussion, which adds a rich analogue sound to the track, and with that conjuring an almighty atmosphere. Folk-like scratchy strings take the lead which is a theme set for the EP and highlights Taiko's tenacity for sound design and disregard for convention. Each eclectic element of the track compliments the next resulting in a guttural, energetic dance floor cut, with dark undertones making the listener feel agitated or anxious. A pulse raiser strictly for sound system use. 

Over on the flip side, starting with the outer, Robson has named Fractal as a personal favourite, and we'd have to agree, it was a tough call between Splinted and Fractal for the A-side slot in in fact. Taiko offers a much warmer vibe throughout flexing another experimental set of instrumentation, this time round building rhythm with an accordion sample. An enormous rolling sub bass instantly becomes dominant after the short intro and meticulous percussion exaggerates the astounding impact from the drums. In the breaks expect a much murkier tone with a grimey string sample leading to the second drop. Robson achieves a certain level of feel-good whilst maintaining a dark and aggressive tone in his unmistakable track. A raw analogue sound, hence the wax treatment. 

Nickel takes the inner side on the flip, following form to the prior with its accordion sample adding a distorted guitar drone for the melodic intro. The acoustic instrumentation couples up with irregular drum work solidifying the EP's 'live' aesthetic, whilst maintaining a dance floor orientation. Tonnes of energy meets masses of bass, Nickel is a great set opener and equally a great close to the EP.

Having always been around electronic music, (be it his older cousins in the 90's / or later his friends in and around 2005-2006) Kemist has an ear, and collection that leaves room for all styles.

A top advocate of the Dubstep and Grime culture since late 2007, there is not much that slips under his radar in the scene. Furthering his footprint in the vinyl community, Kemist has now ventured out on a vinyl only label (Vinyl Vigilance) Boasting artists such as Kromestar, K Man, Cluekid, RDG, Nova & Repulsion, Krytikal & L Nix.

From his solid connections to the 40Hz Soundsystem (Toronto) down to the TsunamiBass Experience (New York) stretching out and over to the UK friends. There is a chance you've seen him posting about vinyl releases or you just know him from the Vinyl Vigilance Facebook community.

Class of '94, Fabrizio "Breez" Delli Falconi steps into the music world by becoming a self-taught bass player; After a few years his attention shifts towards electronic music production and night events. He then meets "Bratski Krug", a dubstep organisation from Turin that was on the forefront of the underground night scene, organising events in Murazzi and Phuddhu Bar. 

This experience brings him closer to the art of DJing finding a hidden passion for Bass Music.  Breez, as a self-taught artist, starts to create his own sounds giving birth to his unique style and identity.  Heavy basses with sharp snares, spooky sounds but also gentle influences, from Dub to UKG.

Breez has been releasing music from day one, finding his most popular works on USA based Dank n'Dirty Dubz and After Dark Music just to name a few. 

He is also an artist to be regularly featured on many popular web radios such as Rinse Fm, Sub FM, Indepth Radio, Subtle FM (with the support of J:Kenzo, Distance, ARtroniks, Forslab, and many others). Breez has performed on stage with artists such as Youngsta, Dub Phizix, Strategy, Benny Page, General Levy, Panda Dub, D-operation Drop, Kwality MC (just to name a few). He as also performed at Outlook Festival(currently 2017 & 2018 editions).
