Influenced by the Oval process, I started recording old stuff on CD-R, scratch and damage it and played the CD-R again where I recorded it into Ableton back and took the best parts to create the main melody of the track. Sebastian Hartmann is considered one of the big innovators of contemporary German theatre, and asked Ring to contribute to this mammoth project, which was commissioned by the renowned German arts festival Ruhrfestspiele in Recklinghausen.
