Skimir - Subardo Stage - Fusion Festival 2025

This set is something new for me – a step into unknown territory.
It’s experimental, intimate, and deeply personal. I’m exploring ambient textures, fragile rhythms, and layered soundscapes, blending them with field recordings and subtle emotional shifts.

It’s my first time performing this kind of music live, and it feels like opening a door into a quieter, more tender part of myself.

Let’s drift together for a while.

Sebizarre @ Fusion Festival 2025 (Fer à Coudre)

PART I - High energy into the night

There is this place which operates as a glitch of the systemic reality. A temporary autonomous zone which eludes the social rules and norms for a moment, a crack in time in space which gives us a glimpse of what also can be there. It does so because it’s temporary and therefore sinks deep into to our hearts and colours imagination of possible worlds. It’s a situational laboratory and shouldn’t be confused with „the“ solution to systemic reality and therefore romanticized. Its strength lies in the vulnerability to its own fallibility and the ever going trial and error, as an organic growth and transformational process. 
And then there is the glitch in the glitch. A beloved space by many and at the same time known by few, who intuitively and courageously are on a constant search for those cracks in time and space. 
On the first night of Karla Kutter Stage of Fusion Festival 2025 the space generously was given to an idea of DJ performance which itself is a crack in time & space. 

The (friend of the stage) & friends slot. After last years amazing Etkin & friends slot which started this series this year 
Sui & friends filled the space from late night hours till the morning. This concept seeks to deconstruct common ideas of DJ-performance & performance-pressure and is focussed on the celebration of friendship and the shared love and dedication for music and artistic expressions through sound. 

As chaos never died and we swim through chaos, but together. 

The friends which lovingly and warmly brought their magic to Karla Kutter and created this journey through various ideas of bass music, are dk, Spoonman Dj & UMAIR. 

dk is deeply interested and therefore connected to the environments of living beings and their expressions beyond human perception. As she exposes these complex structures in her artistic approach she constantly webbed unknown, complex yet thriving sounds into this sound journey. @dianavommond

dj spoonman full of musical and human care not only knows how to play a ballad with two wooden spoons but also how to keep a flow going in the most surprisingly sounding ways. @spoonmandj

UMAIR as the first arthouse filmmaker from Karachi, Pakistan and incredible soul of human knows how to tell a story in multidimensional ways in image and sound. @uma1rbilal
