ਅਪਨੇ ਮਨ ਕੋ (ਮਧੁਕਰੁ) ਭੌਰਾ ਰੂਪ ਕਰੌਂ ਔਰ ਆਪ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਕਵਲ ਮੇਂ ਰਿਦੇ ਬੀਚ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰੂੰ, ਪੁਨਾ ਰਸਨਾ ਕਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਕੋ ਸਦੀਵ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕਰੂੰ। ਇਹ ਦਾਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋ ਦੀਜੀਏ ਜਿਸ ਕਰ ਸਭ ਅੰਗ ਸਫਲ ਕਰ ਲੇਵੋਂ॥੧॥

ਹੇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ! ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਿਉ (ਜਿਨਿ) ਮਤਿ ਘਟੈ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਘਟੈ ਨਹੀਂ॥

ਮੈ ਤਉ ਮੋਲਿ ਮਹਗੀ ਲਈ ਜੀਅ ਸਟੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਨੇ ਆਪ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ ਮਹਗੀ ਮੋਲ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਅਪਨੇ ਜੀ ਕੇ (ਸਟੈ) ਬਦਲੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਸੇ ਤਨ ਮਨ ਧਨ ਸਰਬੰਸ ਦੇਨੇ ਸੇ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਬਿਨਾ ਭਾਉ ਨਹੀ ਊਪਜੈ ਭਾਵ ਬਿਨੁ ਭਗਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਹੋਇ ਤੇਰੀ ॥
Saadhhasangath Binaa Bhaao Nehee Oopajai Bhaav Bin Bhagath Nehee Hoe Thaeree ||
Without the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, love for the Lord does not well up; without this love, Your devotional worship cannot be performed.
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਬਿਨਾਂ (ਭਾਉ) ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਪਜਤਾ ਹੈ ਔਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਤੀ ਹੈ॥

ਕਹੈ ਰਵਿਦਾਸੁ ਇਕ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਪੈਜ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਰਾਜਾ ਰਾਮ ਮੇਰੀ ॥੨॥੨॥

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਹੇ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜਾ! ਇਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਾਸ ਮੇਰੀ ਇਹੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ (ਪੈਜ) ਪ੍ਰਤਗ੍ਯਾ ਰਾਖੋ, ਭਾਵ ਸਤਸੰਗ ਦੇਹੋ॥੨॥੨॥☬ਅਬ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਜੀ ਕੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਆਰਤੀ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
* ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ: ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ?-ਸਿਮਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਦਾ ਸਦਕਾ। * ਨੋਟ: ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਰਮਈਆ', 'ਮਾਧਉ', 'ਰਾਮ', 'ਗੋਬਿੰਦ', 'ਰਾਜਾ ਰਾਮ' ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ। ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਮਾਧਉ' ਤੇ 'ਗੋਬਿੰਦ', ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਹਨ। ਜੇ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਦੇ ਪੁਜਾਰੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਹ ਵਰਤਦੇ। ਇਹ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
