The debut album from Ahbab Al-Habib is finally here!

Ahbab Al-Habib (Lovers of the Beloved) is a Nasheed group based in California that is dedicated to spreading the love of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through the art and tradition of classical Inshād (spiritual odes). 

We live in an age where love is sparse, and because of this, we strive to saturate society with the love of the most perfect human to ever live— Our Muhammad ﷺ.

Ahbab al-Habib dedicated themselves to years of intensive study of this art with some of the greatest Munshideen (masters of spiritual odes) of the modern era from Syria and Jordan. Their teachers include Shaykh Samer Nashar, Shaykh Muhammad Adel, Shaykh Jihad Al-Kalouti, Shaykh Abdullah Adel, Shaykh Abdulrahman Sha’ar, Shaykh Salah Al-Kurdy, and Ustadth Omar Helal.

The name “Muhammad” literally translates into English as “The Praised One”. Allah Almighty in His Holy Book the Quran says, “Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace” (Quran 33:56). This commandment from our Lord is our motivation for creating this group.

This album features 16 tracks of fusion, R&B and hip hop sounds throughout. Native Deen brings a melodic high energy sound that can be appreciated by people of all races, religions and ethnicities. Native Deen's decision to solely use percussion instruments throughout "Not Afraid to Stand Alone" has lead to the creation of one of the most evocative audio efforts of the year. With powerful beats and thought-provoking lyrics, "Not Afraid to Stand Alone" will strike a chord with fans of hip-hop and R&B. Showcasing the remix of "M.U.S.L.I.M" and the single "Stand Alone", it also features special guest artists Zain Bhikha and Isam B. from Outlandish.
