The true techno dream team of Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann revisit their Elements project from a few years ago with a new series of killer remixes. Terra - originally released in 2011, did all sorts of damage to dance-floors across the globe. Now, it’s all set to do it again thanks to this Joseph Capriati Remix. The Italian techno headliner has grown into a major force on the scene in recent years, and here delivers a signature slice of muscular, driving techno - taut, dramatic and devastating. Paired with a remix of the now seminal Feugo Julien Jeweil’s remix also hits the spot - the track received a 2016 overhaul with some of Jeweil’s signature flair. The Frenchman has been a constant figure on the top of various charts and line ups for some time, and its easy to see why - Fuego is stripped back machine funk primed for big systems and even bigger moments.

02 Fuego (Julian Jeweil Remix)

Johnny Trika is back on SCI+TEC to complete a tantalising trio of releases for the label. Having first made an appearance back in 2013 with his ‘Main Squeeze’ EP the Canadian producer then announced a return with the spikey ‘Punk Fools’ last summer.

Johnny’s bouncy rhythmic basslines have underpinned his previous work, and his latest collection of tracks are no different. Title track ‘Day Tripper’ thobs from the off, powered by its strong kick-drum, hollow percussion and escalating synth. Intense and powerful, the rise and fall of its master synth makes this a real helter skelter of a track.

True to its name ‘Double Trouble’ delivers a similar theme with its mistral rises and funky bass, before the ep is rounded up by the rampant drum work and frenzied vocal twists of ‘8th Voice’.

"I was sitting in my studio and watched the snowflakes falling down in front of my window. It was a beautiful picture and so I tried to capture this warm and dreamy feeling into a new song."
