I think you can clearly hear why it was abandoned...

I was thinking of making the song from the Credits because I thought the way how Toby arranged it was fantastic... 

However, I think my lack of creativity with this got the best of me and I tried to make it sound 'too much' like the original. 

The song wasn't arranged for orchestra and is difficult to adapt without disrupting the whole melody and feel of it. I'm sure others could have done it more successfully.
